“That was hard!”
This is one of the best compliments I can get after a Monday workout. This morning should have been tough – with a rotation of bridge sprints, stair repeats, and body weight exercises, all without breaks, I hope you left with jiggly legs and craving a hearty breakfast.
Sure November Project is about community, fun, hugs, high 5s, and connection but it is also about working your butt off and getting a wicked sweat in before most people even get out of bed. If you ever leave an NP workout and say that you didn’t break a sweat I need to know. It is on me, Nadim and Andrew to make sure we challenge you to push a little harder. Just like those 10 extra strides you were supposed to take today before you stopped sprinting we want to challenge you to push a little further each week. Reminding yourself that you are often stronger than you believe yourself to be. Also, we value your time. If you are going to wake up to be at a 6AM workout we want to make that count and the energy you put out is contagious. When you push hard, be that during sprints, hill repeats, or burpee challenges, you encourage others to work hard alongside you. If you only give it half an effort, you make it ok for others to half-ass it too. That being said, I don’t think anyone half-assed anything today! The tribe slayed the workout today! Thank you for showing up, sharing your energy, and working hard. You are stronger than you were when you rolled out of bed this morning!
