We’ve been through this.
A cold snap. Hopefully, this one won’t last for 27 days.
I don’t know about you but it didn’t even feel THAT cold. Maybe after -39, -23 doesn’t feel significant anymore.
I always find it amazing that you all show up wearing many layers (I know of at least one of us in their PJs / “base layer” this AM!), work your butts off up those stairs, have breath to cheer on others, roll around on the freezing cold ground doing exercises, air high five others who can only be identified by their jacket (I lost Rob today… why did he wear a different jacket?), sit on cold concrete to smile for a photo, say good morning to others with snot all over your face (maybe that’s just me), and walk away with crispy hair and eye lashes.
We really are a special bunch.
I’m sure I’ll write more than one blog post with this title. What an awesome way to start the day.
Thanks for the oranges Tom and Christine. This is an old NP tradition of ours. #happylunarnewyear
And yes, Rob made us dab this morning like it’s the 20teens!!
