- No Coast 2017 is also coming up and will be a blast and a half and then a half of a half. Check Facebook and last week’s blog for details.
- Billy (no Facebook, he’s an old soul) had a child. His name is Billy, Jr. (Just kidding, that’s not his name).

- If you wear pants to a workout, we will hunt you down and strip them off of you.

It’s a warm Monday in Milwaukee and you know what that means?
John Teich will put on a tank top and not take it off until November. Ben Teich will make fun of said tank top. Rick Clark will continue to not wear a shirt. DG and Roger will start wearing shorts, and Christine’s choice of shorts will start being considered appropriate.
A beach workout happened. No one went in the water.
But there were a few faces we haven’t seen. Andy Smith came slithering sneakily out of the woodwork like a snake. Ben and Cass, Marquette superstars, tried to pretend they’ve been here all along.
These people are called The Fair-Weather Friends of November Project.
FWF’s of NP stroll on up to a workout, boldly emblazoned with the confidence of the high school football QB with a puka shell neckless and a cheerleading girlfriend. FWF’s spit in the face of danger and say “Consistency? Psha.” FWF’s make an entrance, fashionably late, fashionably surprising everyone who wondered whether they were still alive. FWF’s make the world turn – turn its head, and say “Oh dang, there they are again.”
FWF’s hear the word weatherproof and laugh. They know that it’s easier to lie in bed when it’s cold. They are aware of the fact that the winter sun is warmer at 3 pm than it is at 6:26 am.
They haven’t yet fully embraced the idea of consistency. And yet we love them. We love them because we missed them during the winter. Now we get to run on Bradford beach with them, Chariots of Fire-style, and push them into the water. We can tag their short-sleeve shirts, and they can wear them without fear of a little bit of cold.
If you’re a FWF, this is your time. From now until the end of October, it’ll be sunny and warm. So, as we say,
