Today was one of those classic ‘get the work done kind of days,’ and I have nothing else to say to you other than great job – you rock. Big kudos as well to our three first timers who braved the new year and crushed those stairs. The hardest part is getting there, after that I haven’t met anyone who regretting showing up.
Alongside these kind of days it is also important find some enjoyment. For me November Project was a gateway to a variety of other activities. New sports to try, new friends to meet, and new ways of having fun. On top of finding new things November Project also overlapped with some old loves of mine. One of them being my love for skiing.
I was 9-10 when my dad passed and one of his best friends told me that there would always be an invite to ski with his family, every year, for my sister and I. Some 24 years later I think I have missed 1-2 years of skiing with them. I truly believe I am a better person because of the love that family has shared with my sister and I. I can also say with confidence that I am a better skier because of them as well haha. So when NPCan wanted to start an annual ski trip day I couldn’t be more excited. Mountains, fresh powder, hot tubs, and food – I couldn’t ask for much better. Now this isn’t an official NP event like Summit but it is something I look forward to each year. Basically we just all pick a day to meet on the hill and that night go out for dinner. Maybe you want to come for dinner but snowshoeing is more your style or maybe you just want an excuse to get out to the mountains – regardless I’d love to see you there. And if you can’t make it don’t worry there will be a workout Monday morning no matter what.
Here are the details for this year – graciously organized by Christine on a public Facebook event.
