It was just added this morning at 6:29. I talked to corporate late last night and made sure it was in the budget (luckily this #freeFitness thing doesn’t cost too much). The only weird thing is, there was no option for a 50 miler, or a 50k. Sorry Paddy. We DID however, have a marathon relay. Except instead of a marathon, it was more of a hill sprint, and instead of a 26 miles, it was more like 0.26 miles. Long story short, it was way better.
We also introduced a new workout, #deckTheHills which involved a standard deck of cards (red push ups, black sit ups), where J’s and Q’s meant back hill, and K’s and A’s meant front hills. It was a good change of pace for everyone other than Dana Bogan who got back hills all the time always, and #justJake who was never there for more than one card before getting a face card and being tossed down a hill.
This morning was also kickass for other reasons… namely, none of the stupid co-leaders were there, ’cause they were busy gallivanting in SF, which meant we were finally able to be ourselves and crush #deckTheHills. What a relief. No silly EmSauce flexing her guns, and no tall Capoze bein’ all fast ‘n’ shit. Ugh. They’re the worst*.
It was Silvie and Freya’s birthday which means we’re all growing up too fast, and it was also Bookman and Sogoloff’s birthday, which means we’re growing up WAY too fast**. It also meant everyone got presents from Sogoloff which is always… what’s the word? Enterneibriating? Also this picture is hilarious, and definitely gives people the wrong impression about what November Project is (which is why I of course put it in the blog to make it more prominent).
