Cold Haikus

Just to review, a Haiku is a form of poetry, with three lines, and each line having a precise number of syllables.  5-7-5.  My haikus today will attempt to recap the morning, be certain you know where to #JustShowUp on Monday, and maybe make you flirt with your own haiku…

Cold is so dang cold.

Running keeps us from freezing.

Well, until you stop.

____

Run, just run, don’t stop.

Up and down the Summit hill.

Stairs too, for some spice.

____

Burpees, in the park.

Do 5? Wait, what did Payne say…?

Your age–in burpees!*

____

*Capozzi’s cold face

Leads to funny, misheard words.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

_____

#NoRegretsFriday

Everyone had fun, we checked.

Too cold to linger.

____

#WeekendEarned, for sure.

Go sleep, shop, gather, and play.

Now, HAVE A GREAT DAY!

____

#DestinationDeck

On Mon. is not TBD

It’s in the tracker.

____

But if you can’t wait…

You need to know! It’s right here:

Sennott Park, Cambridge

____

My haikus are cold

But yours will get much hotter

Try it! Go, be bold!
