Message From The Dream Factory:

From all of us at The Dream Factory – THANK YOU for all of the incredible fundraising you have done so far. We were beyond thrilled to see that The Great Skate has already reached its fundraising goal! That means more memories, more laughter, and more dreams come true for kids in Manitoba going through some really tough stuff.

If you haven’t reached your fundraising goal just yet – that’s ok! There’s still lots of time to make a difference. Every dollar raised stays in Manitoba and helps bring more dreams to life – whether it’s a far-off adventure, a bedroom makeover or shopping spree, or a BIG dream we haven’t seen before! Whatever it is, you are helping ensure that we can say “yes” and make that dream come true.

The winner of the $50 gift card for The Forks is: Stephen Christensen!

AFTER THE RACE: Dream Factory Kids Practice!

If you aren’t too cold after the race, stick around the CN Skating Rink at 9:00am for a very special hockey “practice” starring the incredible kids from The Dream Factory and a very special guest coach! This is what all of this fundraising is about, and we’d love for you to stick around. Who knows, maybe you can sharpen your skills!

Click the link above to register! If you can’t make it out on skates we would love to have you to cheer and join in our day of fun.

We are almost two full months into our Friday Guest Co-leaders and you all have been absolutely CRUSHING IT. It has been such a treat seeing what twist everyone has put on a workout, we’ve had quite the variety from a more track-like workout, to ab circles, to partner workouts. We have been loving the new energy and ideas you have all been bringing to the table and the support you’ve each had for each other when there is a new co-leader. It feels like this winter is flying by, who knew winter Fridays could be so FIRE?! Ya’ll this sh*t is good.

This morning was a blast. Such a feeling of relief to not be in the -20s for once. We conquered not one, but two bridges! The Bridge Challenge will forever be my favourite workout. Don’t even try to convince me otherwise. This week the Shabooyah was passed from Scott to Toby. Toby was initially recruited by his brother Nick and has been consistent ever since! Toby is great at pushing himself and others from the front of the pack and somehow is always in a good mood despite Scott’s best efforts. Toby, we are glad you’re here!

Hi Superman. Hi Andrew.

I hope you all have a wonderful week, this morning put a huge smile on my face. I am so jazzed for The Great Skate! See you there 🙂
