Back on My Feet (LAX)

This morning was on fire.  No I don’t mean the mountain (although nearby, there did happen to be a local fire 🙁 ) but no, I’m referring to the hard work that everyone put in and thus the energy that came from all of that effort.  I’m pumped up just thinking about it again.

During the 5:27 hour, we were excited to welcome in some new friends from the local Back on My Feet LA.   If you haven’t heard of this group, I highly recommend checking it out.  Back on My Feet is an amazing organization that helps combat homelessness with fitness as well as provides its members with education, job training, housing referrals, and so much more.  This particular crew meets downtown so it was fun for us to show them a little bit of the Griffith Park and have them running hill repeats with us.

We got to know folks new and returning through some fact squats and additional partner exercises.  Sure, some of the things we throw at you are random and crazy at the crack of dawn but it makes it fun and exciting and congratulations you’ve tried something new by 7:30 in the morning.

BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE:

Friday 6/15 – Pan Pacific Park and exact location in tracker HERE.

North Face Endurance Challenge CA: No more codes but it’s still a sweet weekend away!  Highly recommend signing up and we’re in the process of locating a Google doc to coordinate teams.  For now we suggest looking into purchasing a team and building from there!  Stay tuned for more info.

NP SUMMIT  – September 15th-16th in Wisconsin. CHEESE.  See here for a handy dandy Google Excel Doc w/ more logistics.  Register right here! and use code “NP20” for 20% off. (yes the codes still work for this one…)

Yearbook Photos – Yes, those photos.  They’ll be dropping June 28th!!  Get pumped.

Fun Fact:  It would take about 2.5 years to run around the world.  Hm, better get moving then.

Do Good LA.
