No, we did not spend the entire workout kissing *pauses… considers that idea… writes it down for later* but we did practice the next best thing! With the timeless acronym “Keep It Simple, Stupid!” in mind, NP LAX dove headfirst into a smorgasbord of easy to pick up, yet still butt-kicking workouts.

Taking to the hills of Runyon Canyon Park, tucked away just North of the madness that is commonly referred to as Hollywood, our favorite Easter friend sent NP LAX’s Friday crew on an egg hunt. But this was no ordinary hunt, for when the eggs were opened they discovered that they were not filled with candy, but with delicious workouts and a smorgasbord of other ways to get weird with the morning. We partnered up and waited patiently in planks for our dedicated bunny buddy to return with the next Easter activity the duo would be treated to. The cartwheels were fierce, the burpees were strong, and I’ll be damned if all of Hollywood didn’t hear us exclaim how much we love this city.
You actually thought we weren’t going to do anything? On this the 1st of April, the day of fools’ing, and you seriously thought we were gonna have a normal day without mention of it? “But we played two truths and a lie! I thought that was it!” No, young grasshoppers, that was only the beginning.
For weeks now, our beloved bowl has been closed off to us. Construction has taken over the stairs we happily donate our sweat to on the weekly. Does that stop NP LAX from showing up? You’re damn right it doesn’t. NP is #constructionproof… we run, jump, and crowd surf wherever we can find an inch of space.
