I think that the weather gods are still wanting us to prove that we are weather proof! Here we are at the end of February and we are still surviving -36C (-33F)…
…AND we did better than survive…we created a VORTEX!! As we ran circles around Nadim as he united the tribe by teaching us something about ourselves…like…can you imagine that there were some tribe members who didn’t get up to watch yesterday’s gold medal hockey game?! Burpees for you Myles! I was surprised as well that there were so many members who were born somewhere other than Edmonton…the push-up circle rendition of O’Canada from that group was my second favourite moment of the morning. Top moment goes to the standing ovation that the tribe awarded the 2 newbies that showed up this morning!! Yes…that is correct…Robyn and Carly decided that today, with the temperature/windchill making it feel like -36, would be the best day to have their inaugural November Project ball and a ball they had!!
Once again we proved that we are the bad-ass-weather-proof tribe we keep claiming to be & we will continue be all this week!!!
Wednesday is PINK SHIRT DAY…national anti-bullying day…so wear pink for race day!
