Algebraic Equations (DCA)

Going back to the easy mathematics, here’s some equations for you to practice:

1 + 1 = 2

You + Me = 2

You + Your Friend + Me + My friend = 4

2(You + Your Friend) + 2(Me + My friend) = 2 Yous, 2 Mes and four friends

2X^2(Your Friends) + 45X + 200 = 1446

Solve for X.

Don’t worry, that’s where I draw the line too. That’s what computers are for, right? When is this algebra stuff applicable in real life anyway?

I know it’s hard to imagine how your Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays could be better than they already are, but they can. How is it possible to have SO MUCH FUN before 7AM three days a week? You may be thinking, I’ve done my part, I show up, some of my friends have come (and gone), I don’t know anyone else. I have no more people to recruit.

STOP LYING TO YOURSELF.

Every single person you interact with is a potential member of November Project. YOU could play a part in changing someone’s life. YOU could play a part in changing YOUR life. YOU could help someone find the community, the friends, the REAL connection to the world they need. It’s ON YOU PEOPLE.

It may seem like everyone you know has heard of November Project. The animal is out of the cage. The cat’s out of the bag. If you’re as hyped about it as I am, then that’s probably true. But what about the people you don’t know. What about the cashier behind the counter whose name you now know because it’s on their shirt? What about the cute guy/girl stopped at the corner next to you wearing running shoes? How about the person standing in the coffee line behind you? They might not have heard of it. They might have heard but don’t know anyone so they don’t want to go. Guess what? They know YOU now. It doesn’t matter their age, their level of fitness, their place in life. THEY probably could use something like NP in their life and YOU could be the reason they find happiness, hugs, smiles, and laughter three days a week before 7AM. When talking to someone, there are minimal to nil barriers (language possibly but I’m sure you can mime it if necessary). When working out with November Project, there are NO barriers. We don’t care about your age, race, sexual orientation, level of fitness, religion, etc. etc. We ONLY want you to JUST SHOW UP and experience fun. Experience improvement. Experience smiling until it hurts. Experience LIFE.

One of the best ways to start a convo? Wearing your #GrassrootsGear. Get some (or more) Sunday August 30th, Meridian Hill Park, time TBD.

See you Wednesday with 2X^2(Your Friends).
