Ain’t No Mountain Too High (Ottawa)

Good morning, YOWzers! Thank you for climbing mountains with us on this beautiful morning. So glad we all reached the summit together. Kinda wish people had brought more snacks, but whatever. Check out those proud faces up there – shout out to Gloria and Danielle for taking a moment to appreciate the view!

Which part of the climb was most challenging for you today? Jump lunges? Russian twists? People constantly making up ridiculous obstacles on the mountain? Though each of us may have struggled through different exercises, the fact that we were climbing the mountain together definitely helped get through the tough moments (d’awwwww). The fact that the mountain was fictitious was probably a relevant factor as well, but teamwork was definitely a close second.

So this got us thinking about other mountains and all of the forms that they take. For many, this morning’s climb was just one of many ongoing ventures. After a shower and a cup of coffee (or hypothetically, no shower and two cups of coffee), the rest of the mountain range stretches out before our eyes.

This particular range of mountains may contain familiar sites such as Laundry Ridge and the Dirty Dishes Alps. Just beyond Procrastination Precipice and Motivation Mountain, you may be able to see Career Cliff, which might be tucked right between Housework Hill and Parenting Peak. Immediately adjacent is Mount Netflix, a preferred destination for many that is known to be a fairly easy and relaxing journey.

A limited number of synonyms exist for mountain, so we’ll just leave you with one important message. Whatever your mountain range looks like, you are never climbing it alone. And hey, don’t forget to take a moment to enjoy the views along the way.

Also, remember to bring snacks.

Sole-fully,
Rebecca & Becca
