Age is relative (YEG)

This morning we all arrived at Commonwealth Stadium one week older then we were last week. I’m not sure it was entirely fair for me to be singled out to have to be chased down by the tribe (& it was only 1:20 head start not the 2 minutes promised) to do 50 burpees. But being the good sport that I am, I complied and to be totally honest the burpees were almost a welcomed break from the upper deck assault!

I loved sharing my morning with the tribe and all of the newbies who found their way to Gate 2. A loud shout out to 86 year old Bill (dad to Boston’s Scott Gilroy) who, along with his wife, indulged in some stairs for breakfast. When I’m 86 I hope that I will also be running stairs with the tribe!

Congrats to Chris who earned Abe’s hat…too bad Nadim forgot the hat and my bday attention overshadowed his victory but it doesn’t make it any less impressive. Congrats on defending your raceday title Chris!

Friday the tribe will meet at Emily Myrphy Hill. Fridays are fun!

Until next time, SMILE! J

fyi – this whole post was written and posted using my cel phone…pretty impressive considering how old I am 😉
