Broad Street Cheer Station
The Broad Street Run is Back on Track! WOOO!!! This year November Project Philly will be cheering at mile 8 located at Broad and Jackson on the runners right (west side). If you are racing, let us know by dropping your name in this Google Doc. Otherwise, we would love for you to join us in bringing the hype between 8 and 11am. Post race gathering and photo will take place at Chickie’s and Pete’s.
Gritty Games Happy Hour Social: Friday, May 6th
With the Philadelphia Distance Run looming in the distant future (September 18th to be exact), we at November Project Philadelphia have put together a little challenge called The Gritty Games to sprinkle in with your training regimens leading up to the fall race season. The Gritty Games features 3 timed trial options: a Century Workout (10 loops + 100 reps of 5 exercises), a 5k run, or a 3k walk and is a great opportunity to measure your own GRIT no matter where your starting point is. Come as you are, start with what you have, and lets elevate, motivate, support and encourage each other to push the envelope – together. To punctuate this Gritty event our wonderful Christine B Tastic will be helping to coordinate Happy Hour socials as a way of coming together for an evening of relaxation, restoration, connection and growing community. Next Friday on the heels of the Gritty Games workout our Happy Hour social will be at Victory Brewing Company starting at 5pm. Bittersweet Goodbyes
As lovely and Victorious as this quality gathering time may be next Friday, I regret to say that it will also be a bittersweet farewell gathering for our beloved and deeply cherished Sidney Drill as we will be losing her to a new life in Washington D.C. 😢However, lest take this time over the next week and Friday to celebrate her and our time together, as it is always so nice to see and celebrate togetherness outside of a workout setting! Come show up for a bite, a drink, a chat, some tears, some hugs and of course, a group photo with NP_Philly Fitness Friends. You Know The Drill! 😏Friends/family are welcome too!

Philly Mayors Cup – Saturday, August 13th
The Philly Mayors Cup is a returning annual fundraising event that brings together running groups in the city for a day filled with food, fun, friends, along with a dash of competition – all in the spirit of promoting togetherness within the Philadephia running community. The event is composed of five running races of varying distances – 3.1 miles, 5 miles, 6.2 miles, 10 miles, and 13.1 miles and each person may only enter one event and run on behalf of one club. Now allow us to introduce you to our fearless Mayors Cup Captains, Leaders, and Hype Duo.
The legendary Tie Dye Queen – Christina Del Casale and the infamous Photo King – Kiet Vo.
As for now, come check out the Mayors Cup Pep Rally on Wednesday, March 11th between 5:30 and 8:30pm at Punch Buggy Brewing Company South where you can claim a $5 discount on early, in person only registration. First 50 people to register will claim a free beer!!! Otherwise, keep your eyes and ears peeled for more registration and event information updates from this stylin and wylin duo in the coming weeks.
