A day in the life of an NP lead.
No one needs to tell you that we miss Mila. And no one needs to tell you that no one can do it better than her. But you know, sometimes it just takes a little fresh blood to see that we’re really doing just fine while she’s gone. Sorry dude.
Sulay and I took week #2 of the #DudeWhereIsMyCoLead? series and brought it on PR day. The first proper PR day in NP MTL history and was it ever a shock to our beautiful tribe.
We started it off with a little (bit louder now..) bounce that brought the energy. To be honest, to be in the middle with all those wonderful people around you feels pretty amazing. It’s fun to get this tribe going so freaking early in the morning. Rain or shine those smiles are always worth it.
Flash to Sulay who crushed the warm up and got the tribe ready for something they definitely weren’t expecting. Running. Soo much running. Sulay has excitement coming out of his fucking eyeballs. The guy shows up so big to everything he’s involved in. This tribe, Yamajo crew runs and everything else that screams community, Sulay will be there ALL IN, and we love him for that.
Up and down Place Jaques-Cartier this tribe ran their benchmark PR day and it can only go up from here! Shout out to Gila coming off the Ironman Tremblant race this weekend (badass chick right there) and coming out for a casual shake-out hill repeat and crushing it like a fucking champ. And to the faithfuls and to the newbies (hey, Jason!), y’all make me so so happy to see you every week and the PRs will keep coming this time, next month, we do it all again.
And until then we’ll keep showing up. The beauty of this tribe is that it’s everyone’s tribe. Derek and Mila lead it week in and week out, bringing the energy and making us all scream a collective FUCK YEAH. They lead it in a way that every week each amazing person we see adds to the magic. These two leaders we have open the doors for us to create what we want to see for our tribe and for Montréal. Mila we miss you, but we’ve got this so far!
