The bounce

So, looks like leading the bounce might be closer in my future than further away (no, this isn’t an official announcement… more a musing).

I feel overwhelmed.

Those of us who aren’t Andrew, Jen, Nadim, Rob, or any of our babysitters, think of yourself standing in front of the rest of us leading the bounce.

A bit excited? A bit nervous? A bit of barf in your mouth? A bit of a smile?

That’s how I feel. And hearing that we may be out of “this” sooner than later, I’m starting to really feel it. You know what it means.

I think I should start practicing. Maybe I should have started that weeks or months ago.

All I can say is, like I’ve been doing for months now, I’ll do my very best for y’all. I know I’m **still** attempting to fill some pretty big shoes and that itself can be overwhelming but I do know that I’ll always give you (and me) my very best.

Whenever we get the chance to bounce together (sooner rather than later we hope), I know one thing for sure- we’ll all be missing our friend and NP legend, Dick Au.

There’s much more to say about Dick, one of our own. This is fresh news for us all and we’d like the chance to honour his memory, his family, all the friends he recruited to the NP Canada community, and all of us who he touched in any and every way. More to come shortly…

I miss you… despite being nervous to stand in front of you all and lead the bounce.

And I really do believe that…
