Hot hand in a dice game, baby girl!!!
NP Indy played a little high-stakes back alley dice on the War Memorial this morning.
The Game:
Teams of five roll two dice – the number on the dice corresponded to an exercise. Then one die was rolled again, and that number was multiplied by 5 to determine how many reps. Easy, peasey, Bolognesey.
The Rake:
I’m fairly certain somebody tipped off the 6:15am crew about the “Stripper Name Game” during newbie intros this morning because some of them were just too good. Name of first Pet and first street name and you will get Cherry Poppins? I mean…come on. I would like to see a piece of mail with Poppins St. on it. (Editor’s Note: I don’t know if that was EXACTLY the name either but you get the idea.)
Big things coming up!
- Tomorrow is the first race of the Run(317) series on the Circle. If you are running be sure to get in the group photo which will be at 6:30pm near the start/finish line. More importantly, meet at the beer tent after the run for the group “waterfall”.
- Speaking of waterfalls….Friday’s workout will be at the NORTH end of the Canal Walk near IU Health and Bugg’s Temple. There is also a waterfall there. Don’t worry, we won’t chase it. The waterfall that is. Water. Fall…more like waterFAIL. 🙁
- NEXT WEDNESDAY IS YEARBOOK PHOTO DAY!!! Be there. Period. The theme is Rep Indy so wear your best representation of Indy – a shirt, a jersey, maybe the company that brought you here, if you moved for a significant other you can just wear their underwear if you want. Just make sure you are there and fresh to def. We will be on the South Stairs.
One year ago today, Casey led his first bounce…and it’s still going. But seriously, NP Indy owes so much of the growth and the vibe of the tribe to him and his hard work. Thanks for being here CaseDawg!! You are the Cream to my Crimson, the Vanna to my White, the Fuck to my Yeah! (assuming Dana hasn’t claimed any of those yet, if so…my apologies and you can just be the Thirsty to my Thursday). Here’s to a great sophomore year and not getting shoved in lockers anymore.
