Workout from H-E- double hockey stick (PHL)

With Layo away in Never Never Land playing dress up and riding flying elephants, we brought in a ringer to help co-lead. Introducing John Combs, ya know… the guy that set off to hike the AT in the spring, ate a butt load of cookies, and came back with a rocking beard, haven’t met him yet? get on it ASAP. The thing is… when you bring in a ringer to help you, they kick your butt with a hella hard workout.

It went a little something like this – run the stairs to the front door of Art Museum. At the door – 6 squats, at the top of the steps – 6 “in/outs” (leg crunches) and at the bottom – 6 partner pushups. oh my, thats a lot of 6s… At the beginning of the workout John challenged us all, find a new person to workout with today, someone you have never met and get to know them (ya know, spread community!)

As if that wasn’t hard enough, John wanted to bring back Meredith’s (Philly’s version of Sebastian’s only in Philly we go for 8 minutes).  You guys go down and burpee’d your butts off. Thank you, John for a hard workout this AM!

Friday (9/16) is Run to Work Day – we will have a group run down to the party at Philadelphia Runner (16th and Sansom) after the workout. Wear your best business or birthday suit!
