Wisconsin is a classic state in the mid-west, known for its cheese and beer. Wisconsin notes are a super summarized list of details including what the hell happened at the workout and announcements to be heard. Named from the “doing-juuuust-enough-to-not-get-shut-down” tribes in Wisconsin, both originally led by Dan “DG” Graham.
Here is an example of Wisconsin notes from this morning’s workout:
- #DestinationDeck this morning at Lechmere Canal next to the Cambridgeside Galleria
- It was super sweaty and humid
- Some hard stuff–like jumping for balls in the air and lunges coached by the infamous BG (younger, less mature brother to Dan Graham)
- Some weird stuff–like team wall climbing like spartan race kinda shit.
- Some wet stuff–like Emma being tossed/shoved into the canal for her birthday by Chris “this is gonna be awesome” Payne.
- The Lechmere canal is dirty and gross and Emma might be contaminated so maybe don’t hug her for her bday. But definitely hug her for her birthday.
- WEDNESDAY is backpack day at the stadium. Bring a backback of any kind and put any weight you want inside that is between 0 pounds and your full body weight. Even a little will feel like a lot, but we’re making it hard on purpose so #PRday in two weeks feels easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Massachusetts is the state where we do all the NP_BOS workouts. It’s surrounded by NH, VT, NY, CT and RI. But not Maine. And not Wisconsin. It’s also now the state where both NP founders will be living for the next three weeks. Anyone who can snag a photo of both founders Brogan and Bojan at an NP workout and use #Brojan will win a new piece of #grassrootsgear*
California is the state on the “other side” where NP co-leaders go to retire. Boston felt a little California this morning with BG in town. If you think that Massachusetts needs to be more like California, or that BG needs to keep up his surfing skills while he’s in Massachusetts, please tweet @ArgoBatts “I’ve signed up for your surf school.” We’ll see what he does with that.
Peace y’all. See you on Wednesday 5:30 & 6:30AM at Harvard Stadium
