What a weekend!!

It must have been good if I’m saying this on a Wednesday!

The NP Canada crew is baaaack in town (mostly) after a fun-filled weekend in Philly for #NPSummit10!

We ran, had stairs for breakfast, hugged, high fived, walked/toured the city, raced, ate scones, had a few philly cheesesteaks, chatted with NPers from across the globe, cheered our asses off, danced the night away, and just had… fun!

If you want to check out some photos, hop over to the NP Summit 10 FB page (here). There’s a bazillion photos there.

I’m so glad we got to go and hope that you’ll consider joining this incredible crew next year. It was a whirlwind and such a blast!

A few highlights from my perspective.. in no particular order:

  • An NP Canada lunch where most of us gathered for the first time as a group. One of us peeled off to go grab a cheesesteak and bring it back to the patio we were dining at. No names will be mentioned. Hahaha.
  • The 8 piece brass band, Snacktime. Holy smokes that was amazing! Also, most people there either cheered all morning, ran a 5k AND then cheered the rest of the morning, or ran a 1/2 marathon. Then all these NPers were standing and jumping and dancing the evening away on tired legs – with big smiles all evening long! There was even a mosh pit. You would have seen me run out of the crowd when that started to happen!
  • Touring the city. Philadelphia is cool. NP Philly crew members took it upon themselves to organize about 5 different tours for all of us visitors to participate in. They volunteered their entire Saturdays to show up their digs. So awesome!
  • NP Philly co-leaders did it right… like the entire weekend. I’m so glad I’ve gotten to know Katie, Vinnie, and Vinny at previous Summits and Meeting of the Minds (MOM- a gathering of co-leaders across the globe). They set a pretty high bar in terms of hosting us all.

As I arrived back the other day (to the cold air and rain), I was quite excited to see y’all this morning. I’m glad Wednesday came quick! Way to bring the great vibes this morning.

We’re heading into cold and dark. And we’ve been here many times before. For those who haven’t been here yet, reach out to us. Dressing right for what’s to come is essential. You’ll realize – pretty quickly actually – how #weatherproof you are. And, we’ll do it together.

Announcements

  • Friday at 5:58am– we’re having #hillsforbreakfast on Walterdale Hill. Meet at Kinsmen!
