Last year, when November Project Providence turned One, we had a celebration. Free Cold Brew. DJ at the workout. Donuts. Bagels. Magic. We crushed a PR day. We had nearly 200 people show up. Honestly, it was pretty incredible and you should’ve been there.
This year…well. It’s going to look a little bit different. Kind of.
WE ARE STILL CELEBRATING!! Maybe not together, but “together,” because we have one unifying workout to undertake.
In Providence, our PR day workout consists of running the stairs of the Rhode Island State House, and its grounds, for 40 sections of stairs, with a max time of 40 minutes.
MAY 27 – THE 2ND BDAY WORKOUT:
Go out into your neighborhood, your town, your city, your state. Find a staircase. Run stairs. Repeat for 40 Minutes.
Don’t go to the State House in Providence. Let’s leave that for when we can all gather together again. Instead, find a hidden gem in a local park. Near a train station. Maybe at a local school. Hit the workout hard. The workout can be done at any time of day – from 12:00 am until 11:59 pm EDT.
Hype this up, friends. Let’s get excited about community free fitness. Call friends who maybe haven’t done a November Project workout in a while. Let’s bring together our NP PVD Community and celebrate a momentous event in our history by doing something super fun together.

So here’s what you need to do:
- Join November Project PVD on Strava. RSVP for the Event
- Run Your Stairs, Make sure you’re tracking them for Strava.
- Take a sweaty selfie with your stairs when you’re done.
- Post your selfie on the Instagram. Make sure to use #NP_Continues and #NPPVDBDAY
Prize winners will be chosen at random, and we will directly message the winners.
This all goes down on Wednesday, May 27.
