We’re back, baby.

What a community. What a morning.

Winnipeg notes:
-successful, safe 1st workout back
-Friday’s at the Ledge are a GO
-next Wednesday is our 6th BIRTHDAY

Wow. Wow. Wow. This morning was special. Thank you all for showing up, for doing it safely, for respecting the rules, and for radiating joy from across the field so everyone else can feel it. After more than three years leading, I rarely get the jitters before a workout, but I knew this morning would feel different, so I ran to the workout to burn off some energy. But you all we’re a dream, the workout went off without a hitch. Seeing all the familiar faces and some new ones (!!!!) and seeing everyone posting all across the socials after the workout this morning gave me those early day feelings of excitement and glee, and it was good. If you didn’t make it out to the workout this morning, we divided into three groups and cycled through 3 stations. It was hard, it was a little bit silly and the sun was hitting just perfectly for the whole thing. Please reach out to us if you felt that anything was unsafe (or could be done more safely)- we’re always looking to improve.

How about this? How about we keep the energy going? How about we hype the birthday so hard! We have the capacity to safely handle 200 people at the workout (and if we think numbers may be bigger than that, we’ll pull in another set of hands to help us out) so let’s show up big! We are partnering with Cranked Energy Bars and they will be giving out a bar to EVERYONE who shows up. If you’re worried about safety please reach out to us, we’d love to talk to you about your concerns. Our leadership team will be planning, replanning, troubleshooting and perfecting our workout over the next week to bring you the best workout we possibly can! The theme is BUFFS, so wear all the NP buffs that you have! (We have a few buffs still for sale, show up to the workout and cop ’em while you still can, best $5 you ever spent!)

Friday’s are game on, we will be meeting at the statue of the Queen in the front and we will be dividing into two groups for the workout. We will post the workout tomorrow like we did before today’s workout. If you haven’t yet, please sign the waiver, if you did already you’re good to go!

Thank you to Derek for coming out of retirement to help us return safely, thank you to Jody and Laura for helping Yvette direct the flow of people at the beginning of the workout and AS ALWAYS THANK YOU TO OUR PHOTOGRAPHER MEL!
