The #weatherspoof-ness Continues (SD)

Yesterday the city of San Diego got the worst rain that we’ve seen in years. El Nino hit with full force. No joke, I’m talking Ocean Beach flooding, cars floating away, parking garages under water. This El Nino storm is supposed to continue again, including lightening this time, starting, well, any minute.

But, November Project has been spared. For the 2-3 hours surrounding our workout this morning the skies were blue, the sun was shining, and the steam poured off of the sweaty group like crazy.

In the true spirit of November Project San Diego, we are #weatherspoof.

Now, we understand that meteorologists don’t actually cause the weather to happen, they just predict and report it. But we want to give a huge shout out to Stefanie, our resident meteorologist, for keeping us up to date and helping us stay dry today. You earned that Positivity Award!

STUFF AND THINGS NOT RELATED TO WEATHER:

– Monday, Kate Sessions again (and every Monday in January). Re-do of tagging day. Bring ONE shirt to get painted.

– Tuesdays in January – the #milechallenge continues. We talked about it this morning – use this month to get fast and improve your timed mile. Or don’t. We love you either way and you’re still 100% part of the tribe. (Tuesdays are track workouts at Point Loma Nazarene University or Mt. Carmel High School if you’re into that sort of thing. 6:45AM.)
