Oh, oh, oh
Sweet tribe o’ mine
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Sweet love of mine
As I am sure you can imagine, writing this is bittersweet for me. I have shared so much with all of you, and so many others, over the past few years. I can’t even begin to imagine how many burpees we have done and how many times we have run up those stairs. The hugs, the high fives, the laughs and the requests for demonstrations on how to do a burpee.
I contemplated highlighting some of my favourite November Project moments but in the end decided to keep it short and sweet (hopefully this will also keep it less emotional. As a Brit, I obviously struggle with emotion). So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. To those of you who have been around since the beginning, thank you for believing in Claire and I when we first started building this, and thank you for believing in what we were aiming to accomplish. To everyone who has joined since those early days, thank you for getting on board with this. It can be weird, it can be intimidating, it can be hard work and at times, it can be pretty damn weird. But you stuck it out, and all of us are better because of that. I am so happy that I met you all, and I am so happy that you have met each other. This community is so much bigger than any of us: the whole really is greater than the sum. Thank you for being a part of that. It wouldn’t be the same without you.
To Michelle, thank you for all of your hard work and support over the last two years. We really threw you in at the deep end when you first came on board, and it has been awesome to watch you grow into the role and thrive. To Dan, thank you for all of your energy and enthusiasm, for agreeing to step up and take this on. To the both of you, the reins are firmly in your hands now. Fly. And don’t fuck it up.
Keep sharing your energy, keep sharing your positivity, and keep making the world a better place. No half measures. I am so excited to see where this tribe goes and how it grows. I am glad that you are here.
