NP_CHI Sunrise 6k – 2017

What can I say about this morning that you don’t already know: the weather conditions were far from ideal, but you didn’t let that stop you from #showingup. The “feels like” temps were 15 degrees, and there was “moderate wind” that I heard a few people notice (TRUTH: 20 mph head wind (front half)/ 20 mph tail wind (back half)). You braved this all and accomplished exactly what was the plan: you raced.

There were illnesses, injuries, bad moods, inconvenient parking, and cold toes. There were dozens of excuses and moments to turn around, yet you overcame them and laid it out there. Laid YOU out there. We had photo-finishes, time PRs, distance PRs, group encouragement, and new friends. and we even had DryHop mini-growlers. Give them a shoutout on your Socials.

All of these latters far out-weighed the formers.
