It’s never easy to get out of bed on Wednesday morning. The list of potential excuses is long and only gets longer after you hit snooze the first time. Just because we’re leaders doesn’t mean that list doesn’t run through our heads every Wednesday too. But every week, we show up – because we know YOU’LL be there. Sometimes I show up in a great mood, sometimes I show up in a grumpy mood – but, no matter what, because of YOU, I leave feeling pumped for the day.
Even on July 5th, when the waterfront is covered in garbage and broken glass, half of Portland is still hungover, and a four-day weekend just came to an end, this awesome group of humans converged to do burpees, hand out high-fives, and capture the flag (while planking).
I’m blown away every week by what great vibes this whole November Project thing attracts. Somehow, as if by magic, the most amazing people show up. And keep showing up. And they bring their friends.
I can’t speak for everyone there today, but I have to say this morning got me ready for the week better than those couple extra hours of hungover sleep ever could.
