Stairs for Breakfast

Stairs for Breakfast

We just wanna cut straight to the chase here – our first workout at Mosaic Stadium was EPIC.. The support was overwhelming – this was the biggest turnout we’ve had so far and the workout did not disappoint. A quick shout out to everyone who came out and crushed those stairs this morning – that shit was HARD and you guys crushed it.  HIT ME WITH A BOOM.

We’ve been knocking on the door at Mosaic for quite a while, trying to gain access to the Stadium for one of our notoriously awesome Wednesday morning workouts. I hope you guys all had as much fun as we did. It’s truly remarkable to see so many smiling and energetic people at 6 AM on a Wednesday morning. There were a number of people that donated bottles and money to us to cover the cost of renting the Stadium – thank you so much for that – your kindness is inspiring.

There has been some awesome things happening with November Project Queen City lately. We’ve had lots of people coming out for their first time in the past few weeks and the workouts have been so much fun. Also, our breakfast club is growing (much to the delight of Ryan Cox). We are really hoping that the mass crowd that showed up to the Stadium will also overwhelm us again next week at the Legislative Building. If you need anymore incentive – you’ll be excited to know that Deb Smith is back in action. Deb is a long serving NPQC attendee and, despite her hip injury, she still brings that contagious smile and positive attitude.

November Project can be a family event! The whole Ference clan was out this morning (we hope you made it to school on time this morning Ava and Mia!). Also, Des brought her parents! After meeting them, it’s easy to see why Des is such a gem. Also, the whole Shivak crew has been coming since day one. No wonder everyone has a Dad crush on Leon. Or November project can be a date! Kyle and Tori held hands while running those stairs. Don’t think you’re off the hook Ashton (we saw you and Emily holding hands as well).

NEWBIES

We had tons of new people show up this morning at Mosaic. We just wanted to give you a quick shout out for saying “yes” when you were asked to #justshowup. We couldn’t keep building this great community of like-minded people without new members coming to support November Project. THANK YOU AND SEE YOU AGAIN SOON.

Going the Extra Mile

Did you know that Sandra Fazakas has been driving in from RAYMORE every Wednesday because she loves NPQC that much? She drives over 100 km’s to come join her daughters and this whole group of amazing people. Bravo, Sandra – you’re the best.

Haven’t You Heard?

Lululemon has a SWEET event coming up on October 1st. It’s a chip race where your time will be taken. These lulu events are so well put together and so much fun. Check out @thesweatlifeyqr for more details orrrr hit up @ashivvs or @asiebz.  Also, please make sure that if you see @courtlynf next week at NPQC (or wheelhouse or local barre OR anywhere around the city) that you give her a giant hug and wish her well before she takes off on her European adventure.

As per usual – TELL YO’ FRIENDS. We love having more and more people come out. So check out November Project Queen City on Facebook or @novemberprojectqueencity on Instagram to get all the latest. Slide into our DM’s if you ever need anything or want to know anything. Thanks for being so awesome, Regina.

Until next time.
