For those of you that missed out on the awesomeness that was Summit 4.0, here is your chance to get involved in Summit 5.0. Get a team together, get signed up, book your flights. Summit this coming year will be in… Boston. Back where it all began. This will be huge. Any questions? Ask any of us leaders and we will be happy to inform you on all the poor decisions you can and should make.
Now that you are informed, let’s get back to today and the coming days. Today was cold, one might even say frigid. I had five layers on my upper body to start the workout. Trying to figure out who was who under all their layers was pretty fun. Tom fired us up with a brutally honest bounce to help remind us that Christmas is coming and we are all badass mf’ers. F*ck, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck, f****ck to the tune of Little Drummer Boy. (I don’t know why I went to the effort of censoring that, we never do that… maybe it’s too close to Christmas and I don’t want to be on the naughty list).
Next week, I will miss only my third Wednesday morning of the year (all three due to being away, no We Missed You posts for me) and so I asked Tom and Rick if we could do a Xmas themed pop-up on Friday the 23rd. They begrudgingly obliged (nah they were pretty stoked for it) and so next Friday, December 23rd, put on your best Christmas sweater/colours, and meet at the Legislative Building at 6:14am.

Today’s Shabooya award was given to Janet by Christina. Janet is core NP, she loves the shit out of all of us and all that NP is. She’s also been recovering from a bad concussion, sustained from smacking her head on the ice prettttty hard. Yet Wednesday mornings mean the world to her. She shows up, gives the biggest and hardest hugs, and then tries to find the happy medium of what she can push herself to do that day. Sometimes it works well, other times she’s getting picked up by an ambulance and explaining to the paramedics why she had pizza for breakfast that day.
And lastly, shout out to each and every one of you that braved the cold and pushed yourselves through a pretty intense workout this morning. Same bat time, same bat place next week. I’ll be thinking of you while I’m away. The ski courses in Whistler are calling my name.

And since one of the tribe members has been paying attention to my sign off and sent me this pic, I’ll close with that.
