Sh** happens [MTL]

Let’s face it… sh** happens. It happens to all of us. Whether you are going through a divorce, you learned that your husband is cheating on you, you got an F in molecular biology, you got a DUI and lost your licence to drive, or you ate 3 Poutines and you now have permanent bowel dysfunction, whatever…these things happen. It might have been your fault (the poutine IS CLEARLY YOUR FAULT), it might not have been your fault.  It might have been something that has been building up for months or something that just happened yesterday. At this point, what is important to remember is that you are NOT alone. We are all dealing with our sh**, it’s how we plan to deal with it that will make us who we are.

Instead of just calling your best friend, going to the bar and bitching about it, November Project is here for you. It is clinically proven* that NP is the best way to put this sh** behind you. November Project provides the means to tell yourself: “This is the best fucking thing that could have happened to me” and helps get it out of your system.

The NP MTL workout is specifically designed to get the sh** out in many ways:

6:29am

You woke up early this morning. Build on that! Instead of being the victim and dwelling on the issue, you chose to put your shorts and technical shirt on and just show up. Good job!
Advantage: YOU

Sunrise

Second, the sunrise at 6:29 a.m. makes you realize that things are just not that bad. The sky this morning was so beautiful in Montréal… and this allows you to remember that the sun will continue to rise and things could have been so much worse.

Hugs, squats, bench dips, leg throws, and box jumps

The actual workout is there so that you could let out the steam and just forget about everything else for at least 40 minutes. We worked the major groups (heart, arms, legs and abs) with our HIIT workout. I hope the pain you are feeling now post-workout and the numerous hugs you got will come and make you forget all about the sh**.

The Gospel of BG

Last but not least, as one of our co-founders – Brogan – would so eloquently put it: the more time you can spend staying busy and thinking positively, the less time you can spend on destructive thinking that will destroy you.  Sh** is an opportunity for change. Once you start to see a positive change in yourself, you can build on that momentum and make positive changes in other aspects of your life as well. So make BG proud and turn this sh** into the best opportunity you had in months.

Hence, sh** happens and thankfully it does. It allows you to become a better version of yourself. You chose to spend time with amazing human beings at November Project Montréal this morning and I hope this helped you deal with your sh**. I know it did for me.

Be good Montréal…

* N.B. No actual clinical studies have been conducted to get to the conclusion that NP is the best way to deal with your sh**. It just sounds more credible…
