rise for the sun and a 6k (Ottawa)

This morning you laced up your runners a little bit earlier. As you have heard the #sunrise6k is going down across the globe. November Project communities are using bridges, sidewalks, bike paths, parks and streets to encourage people to get out and complete a 6 kilometre run, race, walk or adventure.

The best part about this event is not limited to one particular thing but we would like to emphasize the moments that make everyone proud. When people show up knowing that this will be the farthest distance that they have ever ran. That is was the most they’ve ran in one morning. It may have been the fastest 6k. It was maybe the most number of people that you ran with, or just the first time you’ve run in a long time. Or it may have been as long as you can go, and that is awesome. We are glad you are here.

Check out the facebook photo album from this morning, check out the stories and photos from around the globe of this community that brings us together EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK.

Lots of love to this community we get to share our mornings with.

Here’s to bringing “soles” together
