HEYO ! Happy Wednesday everybody. This month has been super fun to watch people push themselves at our OctoPR workouts while also crushing training runs for the fall races. Great work on our first chilly morning. #PRday is next week! Wintahz comin’ and today was a good prep for us!! See you Friday morning at Patterson Park – corner of Linwood and Baltimore at 6:30AM. AND NOW WHY YOU ARE ALL HERE: details for the best weekend of the year! The Baltimore Running Festival!
– We’re super amped to cheer on all you runnin fools this weekend, and then celebrate with you after. The festivities November Project are directly involved with are two parts, our cheer station and our after party! Everyone and anyone is welcome to both, so please no “Can my sister come,” type questions. Of course she can.
– Our cheer station will be on 33rd street near the mile 22 water stop. We will drop a pin in the event page the morning of so everyone knows exactly where to go. This is often a morning of decision, so do not be alarmed if you don’t see us right away, just stay on the race course and you’ll find us. We will be there from 9:30 until around 1pm, so come on by and make some noise.
– For the cheer station, any and all noise makers and fun costumes are encouraged. Our goal is to have people pass going “what was that?” Bands will be playing from 10:30- 1pm! If you plan on having an adult beverage on the course please be discreet about it and use a koozie.
– Our after party is located at the Baltimore Community Toolbank, 1224 Wicomico St, Baltimore, MD 21230. Our after party is from approximately 12:30 pm-4pm. The Toolbank is an awesome organization and has graciously let us use their space for their after party, so please come out in droves and support November Project and these awesome folks from the Tool Bank.

– As usual, our after party is potluck style (ish). We know the logistics of races can be a little bit daunting, especially if you’re running so we are gonna try to make this as easy as we can. We wish we could buy everyone food and drinks for the after party but free workouts means…well, we can’t buy you all food and drinks. Anyone who wants to contribute food, drinks, snacks, or whatever to the after party must deliver it to Dawn’s house in-between 6:00PM and 8:00PM on Friday night. For her privacy we are giving you a link to the closest intersection to her house (Washington BLVD & Warner Street ) and you can call Kaye at 443-415-0641 if you don’t see him to coordinate when you get there! We will make sure it makes it to the Tool Bank morning of. If somehow you are able to pick up something for the party on your way to it on Saturday, please do. Just know we aren’t taking any special orders on Saturday morning. Ice, coolers and water will be provided. There isn’t much of a kitchen so ready to go items will be best: chips/dips/crackers/ fruit/cookies/bagels/BEER/other delicious snacks!
– We will also be ordering pizza. If you want to eat pizza at the after party please Venmo Emily Bryson some $$ 6-10 ( @emily-bryson ) by Friday at 5PM so that you can crush some Zella’s pizza. Again, someday we will buy everyone pizza, but Saturday isn’t that day. If you don’t have venmo but still want pizza waiting for you, bring some money on Friday to the workout. If that doesn’t work, shoot us an e-mail at Novemberprojectbmore@gmail.com and I promise we can work something out.
– We know this post is long, but the most important thing ultimately is that whether or not you consider yourself a runner come please help us celebrate this day in Baltimore. It’s one of our favorite days of the year and we would love to see you at the cheer station and at the after party. We spend a lot of our year getting ready for this event and trying to make it fun. Needless to say, we’re pretty amped. Feel free to bring any and all questions to Friday’s workout.
