Pre-planning Halloween (YEG)

Someone clearly missed the memo and thought Halloween was today. If today was Halloween, then let me ask you this… Where was the candy? Or the Unicef boxes?!?! Are those still a thing? Speaking of Halloween, do people pre-discuss what they are handing out? I mean, nobody wants to be that person who hands out a toothbrush, but how much better would the world be if people collaborated on this. It would just increase the variety of chocolate and candy that ends up in your pillowcase. Further, no one wants to be outdone by the house that hands out the full-size chocolate bars, so it will raise the quantity for an entire neighbourhood. Has anyone found a house that hands out king-size bars? If so, please share location details with me. Also, how old is too old to trick or treat? Is it an age thing, or a size thing, because I’m still going at 32 and no one has questioned me. This got out of hand. Is it Halloween yet?

I witnessed some tight races today and a bunch of people pushing each other as they raced their little hearts out. I didn’t see any hearts racing though… hmm potential costume idea…

In other news, November Project Hong Kong is now the 32nd city (3rd continent) in this giant family. Wow! Cool! Amazing! Great!

Today’s throwback personal story belongs to Breanna. Give it a read, will ya? \

Starting tomorrow we will be posting a new story each day until the advance screening of Showing Up on November 3. Not gonna hype this stuff, but these stories are GOOD!

Friday: We’ll be at Walterdale hill.

Monday: North American Halloween. Come in your best costume, even if your costume is The Everyday Runner. I will judge you either way. The winner of this unofficial costume contest wins a lifetime of good fortune.

Thursday November 3: The Advance Screening of Showing Up, the November Project documentary is SOLD OUT. There’s a good chance we will release more tickets so put yourself on the waitlist if you haven’t already.
