One if by land, two if by SFO

Yeah, it happened this morning. NPSF invaded our tribe. Nice try Paddy, Laura, and Zip. Trying to convert the rest of our Tribe will NOT be tolerated. In fact, we’re going to just go ahead and keep Katy, Katherine, Tony, Holly, Rachel, and Alex–heck, we might not even send back your Positivity Award that washed up on the shores with our very own Tony D. We could probably use both anyway. Certainly more than y’all do. Is SFO even positive anymore? I can’t even remember.

The point is, you need to stop stealing our good people. We get it. You have great views, and google, but the BOS transplants that end up in “San Fran” know (just like The Truth) where ‘home’ really is. It’s Boston, baby!

Where can you get the best clam chowdah?

Boston.

Where can you find the best hockey players*?

Beantown.

The best ski mountains**?

Fackin’ Bahstan!

The best football team in the world***?

Yeahh, it’s Bahstan, kid!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got carried away. Whatever. Call me out for it. See if I care.

And am I really upset that all those good peeps left BOS to go to SF?

Yes.

Well, a little bit–but I also understand that things change. People move. Life takes unexpected turns all the freaking time. I love that those people moved and still workout with NP. What would reeeeally bum me out is if they all moved and left NP behind altogether****. This movement has gone global, it’s grown out of Boston, out of the US, across the oceans. And we need good people to move and spread the love of this movement to places that already have tribes (and those that don’t). It’s important that the culture of NP moves and grows, and that people know that wherever they end up they can find a group of people that are willing and committed to waking up, sharing the good vibe, and getting a workout in. Without that, we wouldn’t have #BAMFs like Rohde and Pardus here in Beantown. The tribe continues to grow and move, and the show will always go on.

So keep moving, keep travelling, keep spreading the good word and waking up at the ass crack of dawn. Keep running, burpeeing, and trash-talking people in a race (even if you know you can’t beat them). Get weird, get loud, and keep showing up no matter what. It’s the Boston way. It’s the November Project way. We’ll keep showing up, starting with Wednesday at Harvard Stadium, and we’ll see you there #novemberprojectworld. It’s gonna be fuckin’ awesome.

Much Love,
– C. Payne

P.S. People from “San Fran” hate it when you call it “San Fran,” so never stop Boston, never stop.

*Yeah, that’s right. I’m claiming Ference, too. Deal with it #NPCAN.
**Ok. Now I’m re ally reaching.
***Alright, maybe we’re trying to high five ourselves a little too much…
