Oh Canada, we stand on guard for thee!!
As the tribe they call November Project San Diego gathered near the fountain of blue water known as Bea Evenson in the park of Balboa, the glorious anthem of our brothers and sisters to the north rang loud and clear through the crisp morning air. “OH CANADA!” The patter of bouncing feet, the whisper of “thank you””pardon””good morning, eh””excuse me sir” (insert 100 other overly polite Canadian-like phrases), and the loud slap of hands against thighs in a tightly formed army of jumping jacks. PR DAY. We were fucking pumped and ready!
You guys kicked off the inaugural Balboa Park PR Day like a pack of wild animals adorned in #grassrootsgear. This morning, as a tribe, we fucking crushed it! You all PR’d and looked damn good doing it. This may have been the first Day of PR, but you bet you sweaty, Canadian-loving ass it won’t be the last.
So venture out into your day, wear a smile with pride, and be overly nice to everyone you encounter. Let’s take note from our family in Edmonton, Calgary, and Winnipeg, and flood San Diego with kindness. Be happy. Be strong. Be bright!
