Oh good, you’re here!
Hopefully by now your brain has stopped singing Justin Bieber’s “Baby” in an endless loop. For those still living with this affliction… might as well lean into it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kffacxfA7G4&ab_channel=JustinBieberVEVO
In other news, we have now had the pleasure of being your co-leaders for 9 wonderful months. This got us thinking about how far we’ve come, thinking about how much further we can go, and…well, thinking about babies.
As you may have extrapolated if you were present at this morning’s work out, this quickly evolved into a really weird workout where we wore backpacks and pretended the backpacks were babies/infants/toddlers and then ran around doing various forms of exercise. As one does.
While the awkwardly filled backpacks were a new and unusual feature, we know that finding a way to balance the real running around that comes with having little ones (or big ones) and still showing up on Wednesday morning is no small feat. So, whether you’re able to come every week, once a month, or once a year, we count ourselves lucky that you make the time to be a part of this community. And, of course, we plan to subtly start recruiting the future YOWzers…
Whether it’s a human, a fur-baby, or your sourdough starter, we all have someone or something that we’re caring for and that we may even choose to skip bagel & coffee for (now that’s love). Just in case you need to hear this today, consider this your reminder that you have a pretty great community that cares for you, too. And we sure are glad that you’re here.
Sole-fully,
Rebecca & Becca
