This morning was about getting to know a mini tribe within the tribe and running faster than Indiana Jones. Normally I’d go into it, let you all know how much I love and appreciate you people, etc. but we have a lot to throw at you right now:

Sunday: If you are running, on the post that I initiate in the social group, write your bib number and the distance you are running. Wear #grassrootsgear and we will cheer our faces off for you. If you are not running, come cheer at the cheer zone by Running Junkies. If you want to help set up, we will be there at 7:30 AM. If you want to drink, bring some beer (or whatever). If you want to hold a sign, make a kick ass sign and we will take pictures of you looking like a pro cheerleader (you don’t have to run to be a badass). If you want to throw confetti and dance around, #justshowup. Location: here, right smack in front of the Rijksmuseum, on the side of the road, not the iamsterdam sign.
Buffs: one piece of cloth, infinite possibilities
This is the third year of buffs. First, they were black and white, then they were black and yellow, black and yellow. What: November Project Amsterdam FUN RUN around Vondelpark, followed by a pop up workout for everyone.
When: October 23, MID day, as in, not at sunrise OR in the dark. That’s right! Grab your friends who are afraid of the dark, your family from the south of Holland, your postman or a drunk tourist off the street. #recruiteveryone
Why: Why the #FUCKYEAH not? We rise and shine, bounce, #raceeverything and hug strangers every Wednesday, so why not do it on a Sunday? Plus, it’s Autumn, the park has nice leaves.

“Showing Up” movie by Dooster about November Project, powered by the North Face:
In the month of November, the film “Showing Up” by Dooster (in partnership with NP, powered by The North Face) will be available for all 31 sets of Co-Leaders to creatively screen for their tribes. This goal is to use this film to bring people together and celebrate the diversity and unity of NP through this epic set of stories during the month that NP turns 5 years old. If you have any location suggestions/connections, HIT US UP. Think beer, whether supplied by a bar or BYOB, quiet, friends loungin’ around, maybe even some tears? Anything can happen.
