Everything was good, then not so good, then November Project changed that.
Hi, my name is Jared Waldroff and November Project has shown me more about myself than I thought just a morning workout would. It started out as a fun workout I started going to with way more people than I could count. Then after many coffee hangouts, laughs and lake dives it became something I was always looking forward to.
I found November Project through the local Lulu Lemon running club. There were some people there that recommended it to me because I enjoyed the community of the club so much. I just showed up Wednesday morning and came across a crowd of well over a hundred people. I couldn’t believe I didn’t know about this sooner. I did the workout and went for coffee, instantly making friends and being invited to go on hikes. I knew I found the friends I’ve been looking for.
Around this time I can honestly say that there were some things going on in my life that were not so good. It was a tough time but I never let that hold me back from all the high fives, burpees and bounces. Getting up every Wednesday for the 6:29 am bounce taught me how important it is to get up early and focus on my health first thing. It made me start getting up earlier and being more productive and happy with myself. I found a place where I could go to forget about everything else going on in my life and just focus on the workout and the amazing people around me.
Bringing the positivity into my life and cutting out the negative has impacted my every day life. Through November Project I began doing more of what I love like hiking, working out and socializing with people who enjoyed spreading the positivity. Surrounding myself with these fun and open minded people has made my heart smile more than it ever has.
Every new year that roles around I’m always amazed at how much I’ve changed and how much I’ve done. November Project has helped me build good habits into my life such as putting myself out there to meet new people and getting up early to focus on what’s important to me.
The NP crew is one I’ll always hold dear to my heart. The leaders Roslyn and Stephen are amazing that pride themselves in positivity and building a healthy community. With the help of everyone there and the hard work we all put in every Wednesday morning I feel like I’m one step closer to finding my way through this crazy amazing experience called life.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to read about the impact November Project has had on my life and I hope to hear how it has affected yours next time I see you at the sails Wednesday morning.
