So weird, the Easter bunny pooped some egg’s all over the skate park, then made us work for them. He was kind enough to lend me his ears, just to make it more legit. He said that all he wanted was a hug, so we thought that was pretty fair, of course until he made us do 50 burpees and race hills to finish our workout, not to mention the team planks and mountain climbers. Thanks Easter Bunny, no wonder I was always told not to take candy from strangers.
Yeggers (so appropriate with the egg’s….) you showed up, and you were good! Not to mention the addition of the YYC logo on your grassroots gear, rock it proudly, you earned it!
Positivity Award, well, none other than our school teacher, triathlete, runner, coach, friend, and just all around good shoes. Meet Donny, no not ‘New Kids on the Block’ member, no much more than that. Donny doesn’t always show up, why? Single dad, who still kills it whenever he can, and rocks the grassroots gear. Donny, you inspire so many, keep crushin those run times, we’ll be cheering you on at the Calgary Marathon.
Our wooden ore, is also getting some character, everyone who has taken this beautiful hunk of wood home, has engraved/scratched, or somehow put their name on it! Who’s next, well #justshowup and see, there so many hugs that need to be given out.
