Ever have those moment where you just can’t explain what you want to say in writing (at least if you tried to put it in writing it’s likely that only you would actually understand it)? As a kid growing up with dyslexia that certainly was the case for me. I learned some tips and tricks along the way and now I write/present privacy policy and legislation for a living so…the tips and tricks worked but this feeling of writing being a barrier hasn’t gone away. Sometimes I learned that it’s better to wait for the in-person chat, the phone call, the drawing or whatever medium takes less concentration. It allows me to focus on what ever is in front of me and not bounce between things. While attending a backyard wedding and in between dinner I had this thought around the Oiler NP tag and without even batting an eye I knew this was one of those “just wait don’t try and explain it” moments. So instead Eric was treated to the above masterpiece of a video the next morning. Now you get to be as well haha. Anyways I share all this one because I think normalizing topics like this is important and two because now you get to see what Eric has to put up with haha.
