A little bit better everyday (Ottawa)

What a morning it was today- beautiful sun, movement and smiles to wake us up. It’s always hard to wake up, but once you’re up and head on to the stadium, you are glad you did. I really haven’t heard otherwise. Maybe people just don’t tell us they regret waking up that morning, so I’m going to assume that nobody feels that way.

PR day- a grind, a battle, a mental push to just keep on moving for 29:23. That’s the challenge, whatever your pace, is to just keep on moving. Hit that railing at the top, and give yourself that rest on the way down. Whatever that is for you, we are proud of you for what you accomplished this morning. There were lots newbies experiencing the jelly legs for the first time, and a few people returned for that burn once again. Newbies, make sure you reach out to someone new next time to welcome them as you were this morning. It makes a difference when your presence is recognized, because each person matters. We are very grateful to have this place as our home for the summer, to take us to the next level and make us a little bit better every day. Good luck the next couple days with the delayed onset muscle soreness, you may be thinking about us for longer than 6:29-7am.

If you didn’t come for the stairs, you came for the bagels and coffee, and I definitely haven’t heard any regrets on a visit to Kettleman’s.
