Thankful For November Project SF, Holograms, and Eye Contact Squats

Last night was Fat Tuesday, so naturally the entire city of San Francisco was ready for…um…skinny Wednesday? McClayton set up the tribe in pairs of equal ability, so the already chaotic workout could flow with an “organized chaos” feel. In reality, we just wanted to see people team up who did not previously know each other because the exercises assigned were of the awkward nature. And nothing makes the McClayton happier than strangers becoming friends as they assume a compromising position for the sake of toned triceps.

Aside from making people feel exposed at 6:30 in the morning, the number one reason we run November Project is to build the San Francisco community. The moments when newbies truly become friends and build relationships that wouldn’t have been there without NP are moments the leaders call “Payday.” When one member of this community needs support, a helping hand, or simply a good belly laugh, NPSF has your back. This is why we exist. This is why we do this for free. Payment in the monetary form would not amount to a fraction of the PayDay moments collected every week.

With that being said, a very dear member of our tribe, the man who goes by “Hologram Andy”, could really use a passionate make out session from his tribe right now. You know, the kind where everyone keeps their clothes on but body parts are flying everywhere? That kind. Instead of 130 of us writing, calling, texting, thinking, smoke-signaling, hoisty-ing, white-man-thigh-running to you, we thought we’d group our love all together in one big message: Today we’re thankful for our friend Andy, a well-loved staple in the SFNP tribe. Each hug this morning was dedicated to you, your family, and the entire Carlton community. And if our arms could stretch from San Francisco to Minnesota, we would creepily embrace you, NPSF style. Actually, Clayton may have that wingspan, I’ll measure and get back to you.

We are thankful for you, Hologram Andy. And I especially am incredibly thankful for all of NPSF. You people make my week, every week.
