It feels like it’s been ages since we got to celebrate someone’s birthday and today we had 4! And 2 celebrating the same age! It’s a privilege to have people come and wake up at 6am and share their special day with us. They could have slept in but instead they knew that the BOOM and being surrounded by awesome humans was worth it. By no means is it the standard or expectation but thank you to Holly and her family for the cookies (the super cute messages on each one were great) and for collecting stuffed animals for a great cause. After almost a decade of doing this I couldn’t imagine my birthday without that BOOM and honestly it is so much better than awkwardly sitting as people sing to me haha.
I can’t wait to celebrate everyone’s birthday throughout the year! What hat will you choose (Mario, Crown, hotdog, or the springy headband thing)?
Have a great weekend! I’ll be gone Monday getting likely my last ski trip in of the season but I’ll see you on Wednesday!
