Way to bring it this windy and cold morning. I like that we found all the silver linings about the weather this time of year…. at least it’s getting bright…. there’s no more snow.

Soooo….. Rob and I want to ask for some help!

Yep, there’s so many of you who just naturally reach out and welcome the new peeps to our NP community. That’s fantastic.
We thought that if you’d like to help us do that, on an ongoing basis, we’d love to have the help. I think we all agree that this community belongs to all of us so, why not have more of us helping to build the incredible sandbox we play in.
To us, this fits with our NP community agreements (you can read/ re-read them here) and feels like it’s time to give more of you a chance to deepen your connection to NP – with a bit of a role.
If you’re interested, that’s great. Just reach out to us at a workout. There’s no real time limit here. Maybe we decide to formalize this more in the future but for now, what’s important is that you want to put your hand up to welcome and share some insider tips with the new people… and maybe (likely) even some existing NP peeps who don’t know all the NP stuff yet.
I’ll give you an example-
It took me two years to know and understand how tagging days worked. I just either missed them, missed a blog post, didn’t really see or get what tags were (which seems nuts since everybody has one on their coats/shirts), didn’t know it was my own shirt that was being tagged, etc. It was a mystery to me for a while.
I just finished a half day session today (on governance… it was really great in fact) and one of the points that was shared, really made me think of us.
Collective Effervescence- the sense of energy and harmony people feel when they come together in a group around a shared purpose.
That sounds like us. And, like Christine shared, we’re very #seriousaboutplay! Let’s make sure new people get that- earlier and quicker.

Rob and I think we can help share what we’re about – earlier and quicker – with those who choose to #justshowup for the first (or hundredth) time.
