PR Day: Playing Favourites (Ottawa)

Just like that, another month is coming to an end and another PR day is behind us. Running stairs at this time of year isn’t easy (okay, it’s never easy) as each week gets darker and darker. On the bright side, you can only see one step at a time… so you don’t look up and see what seems like an infinite number of stairs to go. On the less bright side, it’s less bright, so it’s harder to see. But we’ve got some resourceful NPers who tough it out with a headlamp, a flashlight, or a phone… or even with a coffee cup (double double impressive).

So, without further ado, we present to you the second instalment of “PR Day: In The Books” for your reading pleasure.

In Chapter 2: Playing favourites we asked you, “What’s your favourite thing about PR day?” As usual, our YOWzers did not disappoint. See below for the, err, creative answers we received!

What’s your FAVOURITE thing about PR day?

“The feeling of success afterwards.”

“Going downhill.”

“Every other week.”

“The taste of blood in your throat.”

“When it’s over.”

“The good, tired feeling in your legs for the rest of the day.”

“Whatever she said.”

“Pushing myself harder than usual and seeing what I can do.”

“The bagels.”

“The hype.”

“The hype about bagels.”

“The chance to win a bedazzled frisbee!”
(nobody actually said this, we just assume you’re thinking it)

“Getting a PR!”

“The wobbly legs.”

“ummm… uhh… *heavy breathing*… *awkward smile*”
(our thoughts exactly)
