After 74 weeks of Zoom workouts, we’re so excited to welcome you back to in-person workouts in Toronto!
Our first workout back in-person will be on Wednesday, Aug. 11 at 6:26 a.m. outside Gates 5/6 of the Rogers Centre. As you’re aware, the province of Ontario is currently in step 3 of the “Roadmap to Reopening,” which means there’s no cap on number of people at outdoor workouts, as long as everybody can stay 2 metres apart. So things won’t be exactly as they were the last time we had an in-person workout.

What’s Different Now?
Waivers must be signed (one-time only) before working out with us. No waiver, no workout. Sign the waiver here.
Wear a mask before and after the workout. We will have spaces marked that are 2 metres apart for the workout. Feel free to take off your mask once you’re at your marked spot and for the duration of the workout. Feel free to wear your mask during the workout if you want.
Hand sanitizer will be available if you want to use it before/during/after the workout.
Stay two metres apart from other participants during the workout. We’ll have spots marked in chalk to help you out with this.
No hugs, high fives or other physical contact during the workouts. So we won’t be doing partner exercises like hoisties for a while and high fives will have to be two metres apart.
Stay home if you’re feeling sick. We all know the drill by now. If you’re not feeling well, have been in close contact with somebody who has symptoms or has tested positive for COVID-19, then please stay home. The province’s COVID-19 online screening tool can be found here if you need to use it. We’ll be happy to welcome you back when you’re feeling better! In the meantime, feel free to join November Project WWW for a virtual workout.
Co-leaders. In case you missed it, Steph and Dan are now enjoying a well-deserved co-leader retirement. But rest assured, Ben and Mei are super excited to welcome you back and we have lots of fun workout ideas!
What’s the Same as Before?
- Workouts are free.
- All are welcome! Just show up! (Just make sure to sign the waiver first).
- You can still have as much fun and sweaty fitness as you want!
- We will still cheer for each other (at a distance).
Can’t make it to in-person workouts yet?
While things are starting to reopen again, we know that the pandemic isn’t over. Many of us are still working from home, which can mean that while the in-person workout location was convenient for you to get to pre-pandemic, it may not be feasible now that you’re working from home. Everybody will have different levels of what they’re comfortable with, and some may not be ready to go back to in-person workouts, which is totally ok. Not to worry. You can still join November Project WWW for a fun virtual workout every Wednesday morning at 6:30 a.m. Ben and Mei will also reach out to some of you for ideas on how we can stay connected during this time. Maybe we can do monthly virtual coffees? We’re open to ideas!
What happens if someone finds out they have COVID-19 after attending a workout?
If you attend a workout and then find out that you have COVID-19, please let Ben and Mei know. Your information will remain anonymous and we will only ever disclose the date of the workout that you attended. While the risk of transmission is minimal during the workouts because we’re outside and physically distanced, we will use the contact information provided on the Waivers to let everybody know if somebody recently tested positive after attending a workout and the date of the workout. We will provide this information so that you’re aware and can get tested if you want to.
What are we most excited about?
Seeing you. Cheering for you. Working out with you. We seriously can’t wait!
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to comment below or DM us.
See you on Aug. 11!
Ben and Mei
