Good morning fellow YOWzers, world-wide readers, and mom (she said she’d read this one). Thank you for joining us on this beautiful birthday morning to celebrate November Project Ottawa’s 4th birthday! It’s always a bit nerve-wracking when you invite a bunch of people to your birthday party and nobody RSVPs, so we were particularly glad to see your smiling faces today. Plus, there would be no birthday to celebrate without you, so we were kind of counting on all of you to, you know, just show up.
In lieu of gifts, we recommend sending Liz and Lauren a personalized and heartfelt thank you for making all of this possible. Since we can’t celebrate this one in person, we invite you to take a physically distant trip down memory lane to see where it all began.
The inaugural Work it YOW workout. Inside sources were able to get an exclusive interview with a certain co-leader who stated, “We may have forced family to show up.” Any forced family that shows up at 6:29am is quite a force to be reckoned with.
A small and mighty crew. You can already feel Liz & Lauren staring into your soul, telling you to just show up.
Not bad for the limited marketing budget. YOU just proved that these signs work.
The original Work it YOW tag. Worn with pride and with black stains on your hands for the better part of a week.
Introducing the 37th city to join November Project. Bojan’s surprise visit causes Liz to scream-cry an incomprehensible combination of joy, love, and excitement.
November Project Ottawa’s 1st workout. Seems like nobody brought gifts. But who needs gifts when you’ve got presence like this?
November Project Ottawa’s first Canada Day Workout. Hard to be-leaf this was nearly 4 years ago.
From left to right: Lauren, Bojan, Brogan, and Liz. Easily the best costumes of the day.
Numerous penalties for high-sticking were handed out after this picture was taken.
When bridge month happened on real bridges.
NP on ICE… Racers ready, set, brunch!
The last NP Ottawa in-person workout. The caption proved to be quite ominous…
…none of us really guessed correctly.
Most pictures are worth a thousand words, but looking back now… these ones are absolutely priceless. Here’s hoping that next year’s birthday is celebrated together.
Sole-fully,
Rebecca & Becca
