PR day (kinda) (Ottawa)

Today we adventured on a new route to get to our PR location. With some gates, barriers, and ice patches, it didn’t stop us from moving today. Some variation of hills, walking, running, jogging, and movement for 25:01 took place.

We appreciated the messages and heads up about the closures- we feel so supported when people in the NP community are looking out for things happening in the city, and are so familiar with the regular routine, that you can keep us posted on possible barriers to accessing those. So thank you.

Fastest male and female today were Seumas and Alex, and though no PR chains were distributed due to the modified PR day, we hope you pushed today, and took on the challenge that was YOUR challenge today. Whatever that looks like to you, you showed up for yourself, for your accountability buddy, because showing up is not a decision anymore, or maybe you hadn’t been in a while. You showed up because even though you know the hurt that PR day can bring, you know it makes you better.

Somehow the people, Parliament hill, the centennial flame makes for a really special Wednesday, on an otherwise chilly normal February morning in Ottawa. So we are grateful that you all make it such.

Here’s to bringing “soles” together
