Bounce a little bud (Ottawa)

Are you back into the swing of things yet? With the holidays coming to a close, most of us find ourselves back into our regular routines.

But wait! Before we continue on, could you understand the bounce this morning, because if you did or did not, here it is so you can recite it to your children, colleagues or partner while they try to either get work done or fall asleep at night #kidswillloveit.

Run here – go ahead be gone with it

Bounce a little- go ahead be gone with it

New to NP-go ahead be gone with it

Coffee on me-go ahead be gone with it

You make us smile-go ahead be gone with it

Go ahead peeps- go ahead be gone with it  **should be sung in tune with Justin Timberlakes Sexy Back. A gift from this morning that we shared with one another, with the friendly neighbourhood, with fellow early morning exercisers and commuters, a moment on a January morning, where we gathered in a new spot, another place in our city that, we found the disco light. Although some uncertainty this morning- where to meet, to park, to lock our bikes, and somehow, we find each other, to gather, to bounce, to hug, to move.

How have you found your Monday and Tuesday this week? Has it felt any different than last weeks or even last years? I know that for myself and I am going to assume predict for most of you that this Monday and Tuesday have felt much different than last weeks.  Last week you celebrated wrapping up 2018 and welcoming 2019. You maybe shared some of your new years resolutions, roses, thorns and buds or set some big-humongous-as-fuck goals . But what were some of those buds? If you still have no idea what a bud is: http://bfy.tw/Lh9J

Know that we are referring to the part of a plant that grows into a flower. Things you are looking forward to, challenges you are pursuing, plans you have to tackle some small things, or major goals. So have you thought about them, have you shared them with anyone yet? If you haven’t, consider sharing some of those fresh buds with a close friend or someone from NP  they will help you hold yourself accountable to fulfilling, living out and growing those buds into roses. Maybe consider writing them down making note of them and giving yourself a realistic and rational time frame. Set yourself up so you have bouquets of roses by the end of 2019.

Thank you for sharing your time, your morning, and your energy with us. What a great morning. Have a wonderful day.
