This morning still feels like a blur. Did I even run hills? Did I give out high fives? Did that announcement really happen?
Simply put: I am honored to be the newest Co-leader for November Project here in Edmonton.
Quick things to mention right off the bat:
No one is leaving; workouts are still free and outdoors; Buffs will still be stuck at the border; we’ll yell Boom for your birthday; and all of the other things, big and small, that make this group amazing are still here.
Taking on this role feels, good. That is probably a positive first sign right?? Haha
When the leaders approached me asking if I would accept this offer, they very wisely said not to respond right away. I took the time and continued to #justshowup to our workouts wracking my brain around this question. Don’t get me wrong my answer was an immediate fuck ya but the reflection helped. With a variety of factors at play I was able to solidify to myself that this was something that I wanted to do – not an expectation, not a progression.
I want to be able to provide a space for the Edmonton community to better themselves while simultaneously bringing people together. I want to put myself out there and push you all mentally and physically to be the best you can.

A part of me is all:
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH this is AMAZING! This is going to be so much FUN! I might pass out!
To be honest there is another small part of me that has butterflies. The best thing I can do is acknowledge this but know that they do not even compare to how over the top excited I am.
This group would not be possible without people like you. I am most excited for the future that involves all of us in it.
I could ramble for hours on why this group is so special but I’ll save that for later.
For now:
Keep being awesome,
Rob
