Great job to everyone who chose to #justshowup this Wednesday morning at Fort Greene Park we had two newbies one of which was in an arm cast – so if you still are coming up with excuses why you can’t show up throw the excuses away and# justshowup
At the end of the workout we took some time out to celebrate two amazing humans who are celebrating birthdays
First up :
Meet Erica
She maybe a little shy at first but she has been celebrating NP since we were pledging as a tribe. She was at our first social event at the Mason Jar back in January when we were making recruiting papers out of construction paper . Erica convinced her sister to drive 166 miles in June to show her what an NP summit looks like a. Erica we are so glad you continue to #justshow up and share the good word with your friends and family. We hope you have an awesome birthday.
Second up :
Meet Remmy
Some of you know him as the volunteer king or scone guru. When he’s not crushing the stairs at workouts and up all hours of the night baking scones for every single holiday and birthday you can see him on the courses of al the NYRR races from traffic control to bag check and some times handing out water. He also volunteers at the NYRR open run at Brooklyn Bridge park. He loves the Run community a lot and gives back through volunteering and baking the best baked goods you will ever sink your teeth into ( sorry Kerry your goods are super amazing too ) . Just wait to the winter time his Hot Cooca will warm you up on the coldest days. Remmy you have a heart of gold; on Saturday he spent the day raking leafs and buetifying the park with the tribe and he said later today we have a (family thing). The family thing was a birthday celebration for him. Remmy we appreciation your kind heart and generosity immensely. We hoped you enjoyed the crowd surf because we sure enjoyed the look on your face.
Erica and Remmy we hope you have the best of Birthdays !!
